Almond Bread

Living in ketogenic style for my husband and me is so simple. We just eliminate the carbohydrate and consume healthy fat and protein in a little bit bigger portion, and eat lower carb vegetables. Dark green leaves vegetables are good for you. Kale, spinach, water spinach are helping you to increase the intake of fiber.


Started several months ago, my son was interested to join with our lifestyle. He was not exactly in a ketogenic diet, he only started to stop eating sweets, dessert, bread, pasta, and rice. The situation was different, absolutely changing my activity and our menu. My son loves to eat bread. Any bread. He was big and ate any food.


He was not totally stopped eating carbs and sugar actually, but at least he tried to be healthier. Sometimes he was still tried his sister’s sandwich. He missed bread so much. So, after searching and trying several times, finally I made this almond bread for him. He was excited to eat it. He said that this bread is the best ever. You can eat just like that, or eat it as a sandwich.



2 1/2 cup almond flour meal

6 eggs (separate white and yellow)

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp Tartar

2 tbsp. cream cheese

8 tbsps. of melted butter

1 tsp salt





Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a loaf pan lightly, baking paper inside. Set aside

Beat white egg until fluffy soft peak. Set it aside

Beat the yellow egg with cream cheese until blended then mix almond flour, baking powder, salt and melted butter. Mix evenly using a spatula. Take a white whisk just a little first and mix well. Put all egg white into it. Transfer to paper loaf pan.

Bake in preheated oven about 350 F until top is golden brown, about 40 minutes. Cool in loaf pan 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.


Bake 350 F for 30 minutes.

This cake is very yummy. It is humid since we put enough eggs and butter. The keto almond bread also can be prepared as burger.
